on the provision of health promotion programmes such as promotion of health awareness,
etc. If your Company does not have a sickness policy, IMA can help
you to formulate one bearing in mind the number of employees and particular nature
of employment. If your Company does have a sickness policy, IMA will discuss the

Design,
supply and administration of Pre-Employment Medical Questionnaires
IMA
will discuss with you any particular needs that you may have in respect of prospective
employees and design and supply a detailed Medical Questionnaire that can be sent
direct to IMA and be processed. This ensures that confidentiality is maintained
and also ensures that pre-existing medical problems can be identified and addressed
before employment contracts are completed. Any issues arising from
the possible employment of someone who might need assessment under the Disability

on a pre-employment medical examination of prospective employees. On occasion
the pre-employment medical questionnaires may indicate the need for a medical

Theses
are very popular with clients and can be done on site if there is sufficient demand.
An experienced nurse will measure height, weight and blood pressure. Also a finger
prick blood tests is done. Following this, the client will be given, BEFORE THEY
LEAVE, their body mass index figure, and their blood levels of cholesterol, high
density cholesterol and glucose. They will also be provided will appropriate literature
regarding the tests that have been carried out and the results.

Investigation
of long-term and repeated short-term absences from work due to ill health Absenteeism
is a major problem in Commerce and Industry and is certainly a major cause of
discontent and unhappiness in the workplace. IMA will confer with Management and
prepare a suitable protocol for the recording of absence from work due to ill
health. Medical examinations will be carried out at the appropriate time and Medical
Reports prepared in language that both employer and employee can understand. BACK

Regular
Medical Examinations for "at risk" workers In
some working circumstances, regular medical screening examinations are recommended
or are a statutory requirement. Examples would be working with lead or working
with certain chemicals (including asbestos) or fumes. HGV and PSV drivers require
regular medical examinations. IMA would undertake the appropriate examinations

Applications
for early retirement on the grounds of ill health have to be considered in the
light of the rules of the Pension Fund. IMA are able to study the relevant medical
records, undertake a suitable examination and provide a report and recommendation.
